The incident began around 8:45 a.m. after a woman called 911 saying a man had tried to run her over at the casino off Highway 76, The crash was reported about 4:35 p.m. near Lake Murray Boulevard and Dallas Street. Police believe his eyes were saved from serious injury because of the glasses he was wearing.
